On November 12th 2013, the Labelfish project will be proud to host a Labelfish Joint UK and Ireland Stakeholder Workshop for interested people and organisations to network and learn about the issues surrounding sea fish labelling, genetics and traceability. Being held under the auspices of the project’s “Labelfishnet” network, and following a very successful workshop at IFREMER in Nantes, France on May 29th 2013, this workshop is again sure to be well-attended and an important opportunity to share information on fish traceability and labelling. Currently places at the workshop are filling quickly, but there are some places remaining. To book your place please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your details and we will confirm if you have secured a place.
The workshop will run from 9:00 to 17:00, on November 12th 2013 in the Council Chamber at Salford University’s “Old Fire Station” campus unit. Anyone with an interest in the issues surrounding seafood traceability and labelling should consider attending, but particularly if you are studying, researching or working in affected sectors. On the day presentations will be given by speakers across all relevant sectors which touch on seafood traceability, labelling and genetics and the day will finish with a panel discussion allowing the audience to ask questions of a select group of experts.
